If love is like a diamond,
Then why chase it
After all,
What could you ever do
With a diamond?
What can you ever do
With gold?
It's merely decorative materials
Giving you the illusion of wealth
Love is a prescription drug,
That aims to cure you
Of all your ailments inside
Fresh fruit from the supermarket
That keeps you alive and filled up
Love is a bar of soap
That scrubs you clean
And makes you feel like a new and warmer person
It's a newspaper
And all of the news
Will be about you
It's a mirror
That reminds you that you are something beautiful
As well as when you are at your most ugly
Love is a sunshine
That sees all of you
Inside and outside
It sees you for what you are
Love is a form of currency
In which a healthy exchange
Is all you need to have more wealth
And your greed of it
Just destroys it and all around you
Love can be so many things
But it's not diamond
It's not gold
IT's beautiful but think about it
What could you ever do
With diamonds and gold
Then why chase it
After all,
What could you ever do
With a diamond?
What can you ever do
With gold?
It's merely decorative materials
Giving you the illusion of wealth

Perfection
Perfection you ask? Oh there's no such thing,
But your so perfect, I could even sing.
It's not been long, but I know it'll last,
It feels like just yesterday, it's gone so fast.
Perfection you ask? I know a guy,
He makes me so happy, he makes me cry.
Your lips touch mine, you play with my hair,
Our eyes then meet, we start to stare.
Caresses, touches and beautiful kisses,
I hope one day he'll call me his Mrs.
One last snuggle, one last time,
To let you go would be such a crime.
Perfection you ask? That's Will T-p,
Even if far, across the world or at sea.
I'll care for you, like I always do.
It's me and you forever, just us two.

Perfection Is Hideous
My face is a well-trodden path worn down by the trials of teenage dramatics. My skin is textured with the aftermath of overwhelming hormones and stress. My arms are plagued with taut flesh and vein over fragile bone, leaving muscle to wither away, unused. My stomach is pudged; every movement pulsing the bulge like an ebony wave vibrating over the shores of my belt line. My pelvis protrudes out like knives that with every movement threaten to rip out from below my skin. My thighs are a sorry sight: two-toned jello rippling from beneath the fabric of my jeans and through the air in near-visible torrents of tsunami waves. My calves are iron case

Forever
Forever

To stretch a moment-
Its elastic sinews reaching to the sky for eternity
And speech that melts into a slow, tender kiss
And thought that slurs
When time slows down
When you feel time instead of measure it
And the only reminder that its passing at all
Is the setting sun on her silky skin
And her radiance commands
With eyes that flit nervously forever
And as this moment stretches to eternity,
The colour saturation drains from her face
And my vespertine desires are come.
The thought is fleeting
Despite my desire to be her little death
To support her roman desires
To feel her skin rest upon

If you were to compare love to something, it's inaccurate to do it with diamonds and gold.
